Well, guess who reappeared to greet me this morning - left shortly after I left, but he actually turned around on this limb like he wanted to show off his best side for the camera. (I know those high school kids must think there is some nutty lady in the ditch shooting at bushes, but that's the only time I see him!)
I wonder if there's any particular marking on him that tells you it's the same Mr. MockingBird you're seeing every day. I mean, it has to be, but I'm just curious if there's a definite pattern or feature that you look for.
@lyndemc No, not really. Just by pattern. Every other bird, including other mockingbirds, will not stay put for more than a few seconds at best for me. He'll stay minutes. If I ever find time, I may go through pictures and see if there's a feature I can compare.
Fabulous capture. Great clarity and detail. When I go walking along the Sliema promenade with my camera, people come over to try to sell me something like a time-share in a hotel, tickets for hop-on hop-off buses or some other excursion thinking I am a tourist. Then I speak to them in Maltes and they grin back and say 'sorry'.
