Did nothing to this except crop some. That light was hitting the head of this house finch just right I guess to really make it shine - and that blue sky sure set if off.

Aren't these red headed house finches cute? I think they were trying to be a cardinal and just didn't make it past their heads!! LOL Really awesome colors and lighting!! Fantastic details too!! Great capture!! FAV!!!
You sure have captured some wonderful bird photographs this month. I wonder if you would like a little suggestion? When photographing birds and other animals it is usually a rule to leave more space in front of the emil them in back of him. This tends to lend more interest to the picture. Just a suggestion and I know photographing birds and other wildlife you may not have the opportunity to get that particular set up.
