There were several of the indigo buntings in the nature preserve area of Mt. Magazine State Park today - all within easy zoom. Love their beautiful blue color.
That's a beautiful collage, Milanie. I really like each individual shot in it. What does the bird on my right have in its mouth? If it were in a different environment I'd think maybe a fish?
@skstein I was curious what the indigo had in his mouth, too. When I blew the individual shot up, I still couldn't be positive, but it had to be a piece of a twig I'm guessing with the wooded area the feeder was placed in. They were really neat to watch.
