The troops have arrived! From what was a small group (less than 10 - who are still below the dam) the larger group showed up today above the dam. They will have to be on my daily visit list - because there's sure not much else around right now.

Such bold colors here! Those bright white birds with their brilliant orange beaks all look marvelous in that rich blue water. Really like the way you've cropped the image too.
I will LOVE getting to see these guys around each day. They are so beautiful. Once when I was on my boat in California at a dock, a sick brown pelican came by and I was able to get it out of the water, wrap it in a towel and the people from Sea World came to get it. I never learned if it survived but I love getting to hug a pelican!
