This little Carolina Wren lit on the edge of a dark flower pot on the deck - shooting into the sun darkened that background so I thought - why not - and darkened the flower pot, too.
Oh, how sweet! All of its beautiful details seem even more clear with the black background! I love their buff and rust color scheme with attractive eye stripe. Their constant presence on our porches brings such joy. Not a day goes by that we don't see or hear them. One of our favorite birds!
