Maybe Mr. Cardinal is storing up for the game on Thursday when Arkansas plays Virginia Tech in its bowl game. A friend gave me this feeder several years ago.

Love the colour match. Not sure I understand the use of the word "root" in your description. In my vernacular it describes an act of a sexual nature. Can't see this bird achieving that with a hog.
