The topic of Why you Post What You Post really applies to me today. This picture was posted because it summed up my final fall trip - this time to Petit Jean Mountain. Got there early enough that there was very little wind on the lake and loved everything about this spot - and the fact that it came out in the camera just the way I was enjoying it thrilled me. This was more of an emotional picture which technically came out ok I think.
So beautiful - the colors are mind blowing! The addition of those Canadian Geese creates a stunning image. Fav! It sounds like you had a wonderful adventure, Milanie!
@milaniet My son and husband are always worrying about my solo adventures too! But I tell them that one can't be hesitant to have an adventure because something bad might happen - if that were the case we wouldn't do anything! Way to go Milanie - you're an inspiration!!
Oh, my goodness! Incredible capture, Milanie! I can appreciate what you say about loving that the photo came out in the camera just the way you were enjoying it . . . so often when I'm shooting I think, I wish I could really capture how incredibly beautiful this is or somehow capture the awe-inspiring feeling I have when I view a gorgeous scene. I think sometimes it's difficult to capture the emotion in a photo but you have succeeded with this gem! Fav! :-)
