For years I'd wanted to take one of the winter boat tours that look for eagles on a nearby lake and finally got to do it. Thought we weren't going to be in luck, but just before the boat turned back, two were spotted up in a tree. Got to see one on the nest and the other up on the next branch. They are so majestic. Wish it wasn't so noisy, but cloudy day and distance made this the best I could do. Still smiling for having seen them.
