Caught in the Shower

This pot of heliborous is sitting on my deck just steps from the back door. This is year 3 for it - and I'm always surprised to see that it has made it through another winter. Taken right after the shower ended (and before the next started!)

These plants are just so hardy in winter. One has been out here since before Christmas and is still flowering. This one will be very pretty when it opens but today it has been dressed by the rain. Great detail and I do love that big droplet on the left.
