All of a sudden, I have Baltimore Orioles all over the backyard - haven't had but one in the 15 years I've lived in this house. Right now there are 4 males and 2 females eating everything in sight - never knew they liked suet. And I'm not the only one - I've heard the feed stores have sold out all oriole feeders they've had for 10 years this week! Don't know how long they'll stay, but it's sure been fun watching them. And Amazon should have me one here by tomorrow - bring on the grape jelly.
Wow- we have had them in the trees but not at the feeder. The one time I put out an Oriole feeder the Hummingbirds thought it was for them. Great shot!
Fabulous! I've only ever seen one in my whole life. You can cut an orange in half and stick a branch thru it. I've read that they like all sorts of fruit.
