Pretty windy up on Mt. Magazine so didn't go as close to the edge as usual - that's quite some drop after the rock at the end of the well-worn small side trail.

Yes, on hiking high l always want to peer over the edge but never do., l find come other vantage point. Maybe getting older l'm more cautious now

Going to the edge of anything with a drop is always a major event for me, so using good judgment not to go to close is fine as far as I'm concerned! Nice work with the dof- I'm with Hazel- the stone looks like a toad to me too.
