We made it. Little scary at the start. When the alarm went off at 2:15 I hopped out of bed and jammed my toe into the end of the bed. Finished dressing with ice on it. Flights all on time. Got to the Colorado National Monument (with wind blowing nearly 40mph) and the toe was so sore I could hardly walk. Didn't do as much as I'd hoped there but we saw all the wind and toe could handle. When we got up to our cabin on the Grand Mesa and I took my boot off - yikes! But fortunately, elevation and icing helped a lot last night (for everything but sleep) and today I was able to get some tape to hold the two black ones together and it's been lots better. Not a great start but it's not keeping me from enjoying.
Hope the tors will leal fast and keep enjoying 👍
