My info was that there was to be a terrific sunset tonight - they're as predictable as the weather people :) Things went downhill from there. I was to meet my granddaughter for dinner after I finished shooting, and as I turned in to the restaurant I saw the front of her white car smashed in - heart stopped until I saw her with Jerik in her arms standing to the side. They weren't hurt but the car is probably totaled. - and very very limited income. But nobody was hurt and for that we are very greatful.
I guess some unexpected clouds move in but it is a nice late evening picture anyway. To bad about your granddaughter's car but I'm glad she and the baby are OK. Hope Thanksgiving is a better day for you.
Boy do I know what you mean! The best sunsets are always the ones that look unlikely to happen or the ones when you are busy doing something that you can’t drop and get in the car! Lovely blues, reflections, and spot for a good one
Sorry to hear about your granddaughter's car - but as you say, no-one was hurt, that's the main thing. A lovely image, even if it's not the sunset you were after.
I guess the non-sunset was the calm before the storm. I am so glad though that your daughter and grandson were not hurt. Wow- cars can be replaced (even on a limited budget) but precious family members can't! Maybe the driver who caused the accident will have insurance that pays for repair or replacement if they were totally at fault. Beautiful shot in spite of it all!

sorry to hear about the car, the most important thing is nobody was hurt. Car can be replaced, even if money is tight
