Shot out the car window - spotted movement and hit the brakes - reversed - and he still stayed there. One of the very few swallowtails I've seen this year.
They are few and far between here too. I was thrilled when one was flitting around my deck last week. I must have taken a good 70 or 80 pictures of him! Great shot.
