Turning Hay into Bales

Using the old time way - one of the demonstrations at the tractor show. The older man in front is using a pitch fork to toss hay into that machine which then (somehow) forms it into bales that the young man at the back keeps pulling out and tossing onto the ground. Sure looks like work (even under the shade of a tree - hence the shadows.

Oh that is hard back-breaking work. You rarely saw a chubby farmer back in the days when these were 'the' way of baling hay.
