BOB. Gosh, they've been scarce this year! With the heat and lack of rain, I imagine much of their food source has been missing in many places. Was pleased to find this Black Swallowtail.
Beautiful catch! I saw one flit across the front yard today but I couldn't tell what it was. I think you're right about the reason why there haven't been many around.
I haven’t seen many butterflies either this summer!
