More Interested in Bugs than Me

I was able to walk quite close to this flicker without disturbing him - the hardest part was catching his head up and not tunneled in the dirt hunting whatever he hunts!

I believe they look for ants to eat on the ground. It's the only woodpecker that does that, as far as I know.
