On the tree, the spiky balls intrigue me. Underfoot, not so much. ;-) My in-laws used to have two large sweet gum trees in front of their home, and for fun they used to pay the grandchildren a penny a ball to pick them up. The kids loved it! Love the sunlight you captured with that gorgeous blue sky. Blue and yellow together always make me happy!
