With the dismal weather the birds were a little calmer today - at least stayed put long enough to get a shot. I'm surprised this White Throated Sparrow didn't slide down the pole!
Ohhh, lucky you! I was just talking with a friend the other day about these White-throated Sparrows. They are usually here by now, and we haven't seen a one! Such striking birds. Great capture of this one on the feeder pole. I'm always amazed at how birds seem to love a rain shower, Our feeders are often quite busy in the rain!
