This yellow bellied sapsucker was staying back in the tree but I could see he was eyeing the suet feeder where the downy was. Finally he'd waited long enough and flew down to scoot the little downy away and claim some time there. Guess this was one of those bird days.
@mej2011 Thank you so much Melissa for catching my error - I should have caught that - have seen the sapsuckers before. There's just too many from the woodpecker family that I confuse rather than check!
