The little downy was getting hustled for his spot by the larger woodpecker, so he just took his bite of suet with him to the tree to finish. Guess this was another day for the birds!
I'll bet that was fun to see! I love observing the interactions of the birds at the feeders. So much can be learned by their body language. Love the blue sky behind this handsome Downy. Makes me feel like I'm below looking up.
