Last of the Azalea

Going from a month of color to a month of b&w - I was intrigued by my first try with it so we'll see what I can find in May. Dates may not always match in this album, but they'll all be taken during this month. I'm still trying to develop an eye for what does well in black and white.
Very interesting textures in the b/w. Lovely shot as always.

Wonderful in black and white! I love all the textures emphasized by this processing. Very unique, creative shot!

Nice contrasts. I really enjoyed my month of black and white this year. I found I learned a lot because of the repetition and continuation of the idea. It will be fun to see what you come up with.

I think this works terrifically in b&w, Milanie. There's great contrast, and the tones and textures are outstanding. Much more effective than in color, methinks!
