This cut-glass toothpick holder belonged to my mother - one of the few pieces I have. Never found a use for it until now - though I always thought it was pretty.
Certainly an effective object for this pristine B&W capture

It is a whole lot different than our normal nature photography! Nice lighting, beautiful cut glass. Have you ever done focus stacking? I'd love to see this focus stacked

@jgpittenger Haven't ever tried it - but it sounds like something that would be excellent for this - I'll have to read up on it and try this shot again (Best thing about inanimate photography - it can be repeated!) Again, thanks for the idea.

Very pretty, I like all the little reflections on the background. I use them for bunches of snowdrops only mine are from charity shops :)
