Only Sign of Color

At about the 3 mile mark it smoothed out some and found this colorful leaf Hadn't been able to take my eyes off the trail and look around much for fear of tripping. If I wanted to look I'd make a full stop first. Hopefully in another week or two there might be more color.

Our autumn so far was unusually warm and dry which is not great for fall color. By now I would expect a lot of color here, but it is pretty sporadic.
