This is a Carolina chickadee (black-capped chickadees don't make it this far south). Not really a rare visitor, but one that's really difficult to photograph! His tiny size and quick movements make him a challenge to capture, and this is the best I could get...
He looks lovely! Never seen one of these before, but he seems pretty small. Takes a lot of patience to capture any bird, just in that perfect position. Great photo!
