A pretty rare sight at the feeder - a male downy woodpecker. The female is a frequent visitor, but I had never seen a male. This guy has a bright red patch that helps with identification.
@wendyfrost Yes, I love this one! Mom, who's not into birds and never looks at the feeder, came by earlier and saw him, and she said 'oh, that bird is to pretty!'. :-)
