Smoky found a new toy tonight, this friendly ring-necked snake. A tiny little thing, only about 8 inches in length (if that), with a cute yellow ring around his neck, and a yellow belly to match. I caught it with the pool leaf skimmer and threw him out of the screened lanai.
I do like snakes at a distance...smoky need to hunt out some nice.
