Today's Travel Tuesday brings us to Bruges (Brugge for the locals) in the Flanders region of northern Belgium. Bruges is a beautiful city, known as the Venice of the North, due to its numerous canals. There are many low bridges, and boat tours like this one go right under them.
A great composed and beautiful captured view.
Our farmers grows flowers for two reasons.
1 To harvest the seeds or
2 to grow the plant bigger.
The flowers are grow in glasshouses for the best growing conditions after this.
@fishers Indeed. I had several pics of this and decided to go with the one with the flowers. :-)
@julienne1 Yes! I love boat tours. We tried to do a boat tour in Colmar (sort of the French equivalent to Bruges) but their boats looked more like hollowed out pieces of wood! And very unstable ones at that. These were nice and safe. ;-)
