Romaine lettuce growing in the vegetable garden. This time last year, we had a lot more than this, but it's been a tough winter, alternating between nighttime freezes (too cold) and temps in the 80s (too hot). The lettuce is a bit confused, but it's doing its best to grow tasty leaves anyway!
