I hope you mind me saying that to me the single vertical tree in the foreground on the LHS is a distraction.

To me if the image was cropped to exclude the LHS such that the image is made into a square (a currently popular format in competitions) then it would be more powerful image, especially with the colourful river in the middle of the more muted surroundings.
