Unusual sunset amid the trees

The actual sun was setting to the right of this picture. There was this pop of pink to the left of the sky. I don't think I've seen anything quite like this before. It was very pretty to see. I just saw that tomorrow's January word is sunrise or sunset but I think I will use it today instead. I hope that is okay.

Never forget to check out what is going on in the other part of the sky during sunset. Sometime the best color is on the opposite side. Nice capture and it is very unusual looking.
