Blocks by the lake

I don't know the story of these painted cement blocks but we thought they were really interesting at one of the views of Lake Erie.
what a contrast, natural beauty and graffitied concrete blocks. love it as a shot, it works so well

I'm guessing they are to stop people dumping cars in the lake! I quite like that they've been graffiti'd - like an outdoor gallery

Interesting graffiti art against the lovely lake. There are concrete blocks like this on the North East coast left over from WW1 when they were used to prevent landings onto the beaches from the North Sea

I'm with the comment above, trying to stop an invasion. Also stop boaters from having a party or parking spot on a quiet neighborhood beach?
