It doesn't look to much different from the one in August. I've kind of adopted this tree in a park and want to follow it through the months to watch the changes. I think it is a maple tree of some kind.
Okay, I went and looked at my tree again and did a little research and it looks to be a Norway Maple.
@juliac Thank you Julia. I think it is a maple of some kind. I thought it would be more colorful than this. Maybe I'll try to research it to see if I can learn more.
Good idea!!! I had fun watching the trees at the end of my block in the same way. I wasn't very organized about it. If I did it again, I would try to take them from the same angle each day. Please tag me on your next shots! I see why you like it! I may look for a Texas tree to adopt.
Excellent Marilyn. look at the tips of branches on the top, have been wind or cold damage. Possible Maple. We have a similar tree but the leaves are smaller, it's the Copper Beech.
Beautiful tree and think this is a great idea! I was thinking about doing this too & I took a pic of a tree after your August post but the grass was already brown so guess I should have taken it sooner.
Very nice composition and I am always attracted to trees that stand alone!! They must be very strong to withstand all the different weather conditions don't you think? What a great shape to this one!!!
