Warmth by the fire

This is a shot I've had and saw that today's word is wood so I will use it for that.

I have noticed that fire, like the moon, shoots best for my cameras limited function if I shoot in daylight so I don't get just the whited out hot area surrounded by dark. This is a better example of a fire than I usually manage.
