Great composition of the snow covered grounds framed nicely by the sky and trees. I sure hope someone who's not familiar with the area doesn't go walking on that lake thinking it was not a lake.....LOL! Does anyone ever use it for iceskating?
@cimes1 Thank you Carole. We saw people standing on the lake last year and I think I posted a picture of it here on 365. They knew they were on the lake. There is another section of the lake where a man was ice fishing out on it and I may post that one tomorrow. I've never seen anyone ice skate on it.
Ewwwwwwwwwww, I hate the cold and it only got up to freezing here, today!! Thankfully, tomorrow in the 60's!! Woot, woot!!
No swimming for you, but how about ice skating? I used to just love ice skating!! Us kids would go to the lake and shovel off a big place to skate on. I'd kill myself on a pair of skates now, but it's fun to remember! This is so pretty and I could see lanterns around a shoveled off place at night and skaters twirling!! FAV!
Pretty winter view! The comments above are interesting. [and there's so many of them!] In the States it seems there's skating and ice skating! In Canada we have skating and roller skating. lol
Beautiful shot, Marilyn. I love the framing and the clouds in the sky. Wow, it is so cold there. I feel for all dealing with this. It was 34 this morning here and felt so cold. FAV
