Awesome capture of what looks like stone and looks like tree stumps!! I know, I know, Petrified, but still, makes me wonder why it gets like this and why not ALL trees do this. Guess I must now go Google it!! LOL Great shot and composition! FAV!

Great textures... I have just had a read up on this place "The Petrified Forest is known for its fossils, especially fallen trees that lived in the Late Triassic, about 225 million years ago"
