This is the second tree I'm going to try to follow once a month for a year. I posted my first picture of it in July. I think it is a redbud tree. (looks best on black)
I have no idea who the lady is in the shot. She was sitting there watching her son play with a ball out on the field. I tried to be discreet so she wouldn't notice I was taking a picture.

I love trees!! Different shape to this one! Has it all ready bloomed? Red Buds usually bloom in the Spring! Never could figure out why they called them Red as the blooms are always pink!! LOL Love the color of that girl's hair!! FAV!
@cashew Thank you Kathy. Yes, the tree bloomed last spring so it is done for this year. You are right, the flowers are pink so it is strange that it's called a redbud. :)
Following a tree is a great idea. They change so much over the course of a year. This captures a pleasant day in the park. It doesn't look like my redbud trees but that doesn't mean it isn't one.
