Tree 2 in November by mittens

Tree 2 in November

This is the 2nd tree I've decided to follow and take a shot of once a month for a year. I started in July. You can see the other shots by clicking on my tag: mittens-tree

I didn't even see the leaves change on this tree. They just seemed to all fall off green. Now there are only seed pods left on it.

Today I am thankful for apple cider.
It's looking a little sad today. Yay for apple cider!

Nice. It is amazing how different the lighting and changing seasons make the pictures.

Love this. The sports field is empty today, nobody playing

I've wanted to do a series like this for the past few years and time keeps slipping by. I love seeing your series -- and realize I need to just start!

Wonderful capture; I hate to see all the pretty colors go away, I've really enjoyed fall this year. :)

I'm thinking maybe I have an over vivid imagination, because those two falling branches remind me of stick figures running across the green. LOL

I really like the comp and crop in this one. Do you know what kind of tree it is? Those pods make me wonder if it might be an eastern redbud.

@tristansmum Thank you Stephanie and yes, I think it is a redbud tree.

Very nice shot and love trees. Great ideal to do trees 2x a year.

@pippie Thank you so much, Linda. My first tree ended last June in 2014 and I started the new tree in July of 2015 so I'm actually only doing one tree in a year. I hope that makes sense.

@dannydavies Thank you Danny. I believe this tree is a redbud tree.
