Pretty tree

We saw many trees like this when we were in South Carolina. I have no idea what they are but they were very pretty. It was nice to see flowered trees in July.
A couple of very nice people in the comments section identified this as Crape Myrtle.

They are crepe myrtles. They come in several shades of pink, watermelon red, several shades of purple and white. A lovely shot!
