Cranberries

Making cranberry sauce. For today's November word of "In Season."

The Berries are beautiful. I've never make cranberry sauce but I always have it for Thanksgiving. I'll bet the homemade is better than the canned.

Really pretty shot....looks so appetizing. PS I cheat. I use a can of Ocean Spray whole cranberries and mix well with Spice Island orange peel.

@cimes1 That's a great idea, Carole, about adding orange peel to the cranberries. I actually like the Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce the best. This year I saw a recipe on Food Network and thought it might be good to try. It was on The Pioneer Woman.
