Saw this tree in the middle of downtown Pittsburgh and was in awe of it. Why are there flowers on a tree in the middle of winter, especially when it had been extremely cold outside. This was the best I could get out the window of our moving car.
I just found out that this tree isn't real but a sculpture and it is supposed to be a Magnolia tree. That explains the flowers in winter. It looked so real. At least I'm not losing my mind. LOL
@claireuk Thank you Claire. I have no idea what they are. I was so surprised to see a tree with flowers on it. It's even too early for Magnolias to be blooming.
LMAO over here!! I just had to find out what this tree was so I googled 'pink blossom trees' --- searched and searched and thought perhaps it was a cherry blossom. So I came back and then read at the bottom of your note that it wasn't real. Too funny!
