Overturned railroad cars

This picture is for J A Brydlip @byrdlip who asked about this in my main album.
The train derailment happened before we visited Horseshoe Curve but there were still a few cars left lying on their side off the tracks when we were there. It was a freight train and not a passenger train.

you mean they do not remove the derailed cars? or maybe they wait till there is a lot more

@ninaganci It may be that those two cars are twisted so bad, or enough, that they aren't safe being put back on their wheels. So they wait for a crane and flat cars to haul them off.

I've seen a few videos of the trains going through here- boy do they squeal!
