Myrna....for this shot I processed with Microsoft Digital Image Suite - there's an option for softening the edges. You can also get nearly the same effect with Picmonkey using the 'Frost' option in the special effects section.
fantastic capture, love the bird's movement and reflection. also, as usual, you have such a flare for processing and finishing your photo. looks wonderful.
