Today we took a ride to Marblehead on the Massachusetts north shore hoping to see some of the wave action left over from hurricanes Isaac and Michael but the tide was out so the waves were typically small - though there were a few people out there trying to do some surfing.....probably without much success! We did see this Monarch butterfly and a few of its cohorts snacking on the pollen or nectar of these late summer flowers.
