like moms & kids everywhere!.....if you look through the branches the baby anhinga, on the left, is begging mom for lunch and to the right, just a couple of feet away, mom seems to be sending the message that it's just not time yet
@foxsparrow - I love seeing these birds too, Ann. I live in MA, about 35 miles north and west of Boston, so the only time I get to see them is on an annual trip to Florida. On my first visit I added some 30 birds to my life list. I can't add that many on a visit now but there's still usually something new to see. Last year it was a Limpkin....we've already seen a few of those this year (including a mom w/ 4 little ones) - we'll see what this visit brings!
