While waiting for our hotel room to be ready in Pooler/Winchester, Georgia we discovered a wonderful museum. The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is well worth a stop if you are in the area. Be sure to go outside as well to see the Memorial Gardens, Chapel of the Fallen Eagles and B-47. With our growing up in Plattsburgh with the Air Force Base, having friends in the Air Force and my husband's father in the Air Force we found this museum extremely interesting. The stain glassed windows in the Chapel were so beautiful.
