2017-02-27b gentle snow bells

I love it, when the sun penetrates the papery membrane, shortly before the snow drop emerges. At this moment, the fine and slender pedicel is visible as a curled thingy. The pedicel is not very strong and so as soon as the membrane opens up, it will let the white flower hang like a little bell. This is probably why in my language they are called little snow bells.

I love the little curls hiding behind the membrane. :-)
