Liscomb River Trail

My husband M.'s balancing act in order to overcome a deep swamp, on a beautiful hike along the rarely used trail. (And no, it was not him breaking the other logs! He told me, taht I have to metion this.)

It suits this path well, that it is not maintained and totally overgrown, but it was also exhausting.
And the mosquitoes were delighted about this fresh blood from Europe. But we are not greenhorns, so we anticipated this and knew how to protect us.

@novab :-) Yes I was on a similar log too. Concentrating hard on M. and keeping my balanct for not falling into the muddy water. ;-)
