@pusspup Thanks Wylie. In winter, the common black-headed gulls (Larus ridibundus) are regular guest on our lakes. Most of them wear their winter plumage, with just some darker shadows around the eye.
I would love to meet you in person, one of these days, and learn so much from you. I feel like you always have so many facts and data points about what you photograph. (Unless you are just really good at googleing? haha)
@bebecitosfotos Oh Melissa, I thought last Saturday when I was at the zoo with my niece, that I would like to do a training or internship with you ... to learn to photograph the little ones. I’m free of talents in this field. And I thought to myself, what a pity it is that an entire Atlantic lies between us. How much would I like to just meet you for a cup of tea, and to show you how I “google”. And yes, I have to google a lot. ;-) So many English words and nomenclature are not available in my tiny brain. I know only a little tiny bit of a small corner of the universe... usually things that are completely unnecessary to know.
