My aunt S. found a five-leaf clover yesterday and gifted it to me, for the bit of extra luck she thinks I need, to find a new job. (No luck so far, only refusals to my applications)
Interesting for me: the four-leaf clover is a rare variation of the common three-leaved clover (Trifolium repens). The five-leaf clover is like the four-leaf clover a mutation that does appear occasionally, but less common than the four-leaf clover.
Each leaf is believed to represent something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. The superstition for the 5-leaf clover is extra good luck and attracting money. I do not say, that I do would not care for some extra money. But the other four mean definitely much more to me. And not to forget, a five-leaf clover makes a good photo opportunity!
Wow Mona, what a shot. Absolutely superb. I wish you that extra bit of luck to find a new job amongst people who will value your contributions (unlike your current one)...
Stunningly beautiful. I do hope your job search comes good soon. If not, how about an exhibition and world-wide recognition for your amazing photographic talents?
especially with those wonderful water droplets that you've captured so well...good luck in your search...the right one just hasn't come to you yet...it will... :o)
First-class shot! The detail in the water droplets and the foreground leaves is superb. The bokeh just fits so perfectly. Just WOW!
May your position search come to a end soon- put this image on a business card, who knows?
Mona. Looking at this and some of your earlier work makes me feel honoured that you're 'following' . This is a gorgeous shot. Beautifully thought out, composed and captured. Wonderful focus and bokeh, and also just perfect in b&w. Fav. I should like to return the compliment and follow your work as well. Best wishes, Seb.
How very lucky for you to receive such a thoughtful gift from your aunt. I'm sure she would love this image that you created with the luck she provided. Your pov, dof and processing choices are all excellent. :)
